Direct Pasting
Press Ctrl+V in Windows Explorer to save clipboard images as PNG files.
Direct Pasting is a single-purpose Windows tray utility that saves clipboard screenshots and images directly into the folder you have open.
How it works
When Direct Pasting is running in the system tray, pressing Ctrl + V inside any Windows File Explorer window or on the Desktop checks the clipboard. If the clipboard holds an image instead of a file list, the app writes it directly to that directory as image_yyyyMMdd_HHmmss.png (appending a counter if a file with the same timestamp already exists).
Outside File Explorer and the Desktop, or when you copy and paste normal files and text, Windows Ctrl + V behaves normally.
Requirements
Runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11 (.NET 10). There is no configuration window; right-click the tray icon and choose Exit to close it. All clipboard checks happen locally in memory.
